Tire exports surge
According to data released by China's General Administration of Customs on March 18, 2026, China's rubber tire exports reached 1.55 million tons in the first two months of 2026, marking a 12.5% year-on-year increase, while export value amounted to 26.2 billion yuan, up 5.8% year-on-year.
Among them, the export volume of new pneumatic rubber tires reached 1.48 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12%; the export value was 25.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%. Calculated by quantity, the export volume reached 120.09 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%. From January to February, the export volume of automotive tires was 1.29 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%; the export value was 21.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.
