August 1, 2026, marks a significant milestone for China's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure industry. According to an announcement issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation (Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China), from this date onwards, EV power supply equipment that has not obtained a Compulsory Product Certification (CCC certification) and does not bear the certification mark shall not be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities.
