Two achievements of Liaoning Port Group have been awarded first prize in a prestigious industry award.

　　Recently, the evaluation results of the "2025 China Port Association Science and Technology Award" were officially announced. Three projects led by Liaogang Group stood out among 250 projects submitted by port enterprises, port and shipping research institutions, and universities nationwide. Two projects won first prizes, and one project won a second prize.

　　It is reported that the "China Port Association Science and Technology Award" is an authoritative award in the port industry approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and announced by the National Office for Science and Technology Awards. It aims to encourage port workers to actively innovate by recognizing outstanding innovative projects in the national port sector, contributing to the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the port industry.

　　In this selection, the three projects submitted by Liaogang Group achieved remarkable results in empowering smart port construction, promoting terminal technology innovation and application, and advancing safety production, gaining industry recognition and showcasing the group's innovative strength and leading position in port technology and digital intelligence development. The first-prize-winning project, "Research and Application of Comprehensive Safety Emergency for Large Port Groups Based on Multimodal Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Internet Collaboration," revolves around the technical mainline of "Perception-Connection-Intelligence-Application," constructing a new generation of port intelligent safety emergency system and achieving a fundamental shift from traditional "human defense" to modern "technical defense." The "Key Technology Innovation and Application of All-Weather Smart Blending at Ore Terminals" project focuses on the "blending" business, leveraging the intelligent transformation of stacker-reclaimers as an opportunity to conduct research on key technologies such as IoT and artificial intelligence for smart blending. It innovatively proposes and builds four core technology systems: "Smart Precision Service, Smart Safety Protection, Smart Operation Management, and Smart Process Control," creating a new model of all-weather smart blending at terminals that is service-oriented, intelligence-driven, and safety-reliable. Additionally, the "Prediction and Early Warning Platform for Ship Operation Conditions in Dayao Bay Port Area" project addresses the pain points related to ship safety operation assurance in Dalian Port's Dayao Bay Port Area. By focusing on refined hydrometeorological prediction and forecasting, it resolves the bottlenecks of operational safety and production efficiency, earning a second prize.
