Guizhou Port and Shipping Group and the School of Information Engineering at Shanghai Maritime University are deepening their university-enterprise cooperation.
Recently, Guizhou Port and Shipping Group and the School of Information Engineering of Shanghai Maritime University held a university-enterprise cooperation symposium and strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Guiyang City.
At the symposium, Wang Qi, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Port and Shipping Group, introduced the group's channel and port construction, intelligent development, and talent team situation. He expressed hope to leverage the advantages of university disciplines to overcome bottlenecks in the implementation of smart shipping and promote the transformation of scientific research achievements into driving forces for water transport development.
Zhou Rigui, Dean of the School of Information Engineering at Shanghai Maritime University, stated that Guizhou's inland waterway operation scenarios are highly aligned with the school's research directions. This cooperation can not only deliver technical achievements to serve local water transport but also enrich practical teaching for faculty and students by relying on enterprise frontline scenarios, achieving mutual empowerment in university-enterprise collaboration.
