In April 2026, China's manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) was 50.3 per cent, above the threshold for two consecutive months, indicating that the manufacturing sector remained expanding. The index of non-manufacturing business activity fell to 49.4 per cent. The composite PMI output index is 50.1 per cent and overall economic output is still in expansionary territory. It aims to unify the judgment criteria and ensure the smooth implementation of the new law.

The regulations on Maritime Traffic Safety of Rizhao City will be formally implemented on May 1, with a total of six chapters and 49 articles, covering general provisions on maritime traffic, safety of leisure activities, search and rescue emergency response and legal liability.
